1955 Ford Thunderbird. Excellent original condition. Automatic transmission, black exterior, black/white interior, black soft top (only). Runs and drives extremely well. New brakes, new WSW radial tires (including spare), new Bilstein shocks, new exhaust. Older but serviceable paint, no rust. A previous owner must have had a friend with a chrome shop because there's a ton of stuff chromed under the hood: fan shroud, fan, heart fan and ducting, power brake booster, master cylinder, T-bird aluminum valve covers, oil bath air cleaner, brackets, linkage, and more. Original 6-volt electrical system with Optima battery. Power windows, power steering, power brakes, power seat. This is not a show car, but an excellent driver. This car spent part of its former life in Europe. It's got a car show plaque from Norway glued to the dash, and I've got a letter from FoMoCo to a past owner in England stating that the car has a 312 CI engine. I doubt the truth of that (I bet it's a 292 like all other 55 TBirds), but that's what Mr. Ford said. I haven't had the engine apart to verify the bore and stroke. $28,000.
